WFDF 2013 Elections Results Announced
22 December 2013
The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) today has announced the results of its 2013 elections. The WFDF Member Associations voted on open positions on the Board of Directors and on the Ultimate Committee to serve from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2015.
WFDF President Robert “Nob” Rauch commented: “We are very pleased about the election of this extremely qualified slate of candidates. We also are excited to be having our first independent (non-disc sports related) board member – Vincent Gaillard – join us at this important juncture in WFDF’s history, having received provisional Recognition by the IOC in May. We also want to thank outgoing board members Kate Bergeron, who served as a board member since 2007, for all of her contributions and Simon Hill, having served as Ultimate Committee chair since early 2011.”
Rauch added “As does every International Sports Federation, we depend on the support of volunteers taking on roles and functions within our organization on various levels. We encourage more people to consider getting involved in the future, either in these senior board leadership roles or through our various committees and commissions as volunteers for WFDF.”
